Torn Paper Pieces

Torn Paper Pieces are dipped and spattered with Sumi ink at the sheet forming stage, before the handmade paper has been pressed and dried. This creates accidental seepage and stains that travel through the post in unexpected ways. Torn fragments are pieced together like hides to highlight the raw edges and tonal variation.
